Did you know that you can renew your books and
manage your account online? Just click on the link at
the top of this page to visit our online catalog. Click
on "begin search"  and then "my account." This will
bring up a log-in window. Type in the bar-code
number on the back of your library card in the
"account number" space and then your "PIN"
number. If you don't have a "PIN" number, you will
need to call the library to set one up.  Once you have
logged in you will be able to see what items you have
checked out, and their due dates. If you need help
call the library. We will be happy to assist you.

(With bake & craft sale)
We receive new donations almost daily so the shelves get new
materials continually.

Wireless Internet is now available. Visitors
wishing to utilize this free service need to have a
laptop equipped with a wireless network card.
Accessing the network is then as simple as
connecting to the "Dowling Public Library" network
and opening an Internet browser, no registration
required.
Summer hours are in full swing!

GRANT RECEIVED!
The Dowling Public was awarded a grant from the Wilson
H. Craig foundation in the amount of $1293.72. The grant
money was for books and items relating specifically to
Astronomy, Mathematics Science, Engineering,
Technology, Inventiveness, Critical Thinking and
Creativity.

We were able to purchase 3 sets of books including:
Eye Witness Animals Set (set of 16)
New Nature Books set (set of 17)
Icky, Sticky, Gross Out Books Set (set of 8)
We were also able to purchase some fun
learning items for the kids
which included:
Real-life Science Specimens (shown right)
Magnifier Discovery Board
Building Math Skills Magnetic Boards
3-Way Microscope and prepared slides
Take Apart Human Body
