and download to computer, mobile devise, Kindle, iPod, iPad, and other
ereaders and compatible devices. Users will need to install free software.
Titles can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices. Some
audio titles can also be burned to CD to listen on-the-go. Titles will

2013 WINTER READING
PROGRAM
We had several children participate. Between
February and March they read a combined total
of approximately  3000 minutes! Prizes were
awarded for every 100 minutes they read. The
winner of the Grand Prize (a cat puppet) was
Grace Nixon. Congratulations, to all the kids
who participated! You ROCK!
START AN ADVENTURE!
Explore 1000 Books! A program for families with
children, birth through preschool. This free program
encourages you to read 1000 books with your child
before he or she enters school- a goal experts say
children need to help them learn to read for themselves.
Our kick off date is May 7, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m..
Bring your child/children to the library and register
them. They will receive a record book to keep track of
the books you read and you will receive a special gift for
joining us for our kick off. If you can't make the kick off
day, you may register at any time. Just stop by the
library.
